Juz came back fr a wedding dinner..The wedding dinner of my friend, my junior..KAM YULING!

The wedding dinner was held at Orchid Country Club...The place lks nice la..Kinda posh..But u wld xpect nothgn less fr a Country Club!..
Aniwae....the service was kinda satisfactory..The waiters and waitresses were ever re-filling our drinks, made sure that the plates in front of us were always clean, etc..the kinda standard service dat u always get at a wedding dinner..
The waitresses serving out tables were Mandarin speaking..but dat was ok by me..As long as dey understood wat i wanted, wen n if I toked to dem in English. Thr was Bert n Eddy thr to help mi n Yas too..So i was kinda alrite wid dat.
Wat pissed mi off happened towards the end of the dinner.
Ok...Backtrack-ing a lil..Each guest was given a memento placed on each seat at the start of the dinner..Mine, Yas's, Eddy's and Bert's were a pair of chopsticks wid the couples' name engraved on it..Now..Back to whr i was..
The 4 of us left our mementos on the tables..We sat, ate our food, chatted wid the guests fr other tables..Soon after the laz course, the waitresses decided to clean up, which was normal..The shocking thg was ..as we wanted to leave, we found dat our mementos were also taken away by the waitresses..WTH rite?!?!..
The mementos were meant for US..THE GUESTS!..y wld the waitresses wan dem?..Souveniers?..For working at a particular wedding?..LOL!..Damn crappy lor..
It was not onli our chopsticks dat got taken, we even saw other waitresses take mementos from other guests!..Terribly rude of dem!..Walau!
We proceeded to tell the mgr dat we wanted our chopsticks..We xpected to get an apology from him but instead he told us dat mebbe other guests took it!..The way he replied oso implied dat we were super kiasu!..Fuck him man!...
In the end, we decided nt to make a big scene...but as we were leaving, the mgr gave us 4 of the mementos..saying dat those were actualli fr the reserve table!..Arse!..Wad did he tink we were?..I mean r we suppose to be grateful juz coz his workers took our mementos and he gave us the reserved ones!..Dammit!
